A Second Chance…
She told me a story of how little she thinks of herself, she told me about how her past always seems to hunt her down, stories of how she’s changed, but no one believes her, stories of how hard she’s worked to clean the slate, a task in itself to change something when you feel it’s too late, she looks up at me seeking judgement in my eyes, i tell her your looking for something you’ll never find, your an amazing person and all you’ll find in my eyes is understanding, your past is not your future, who you want to be now is all up to you, and i will be there for you always,
